Innovation & Education

Public Safety

If a community is not safe, there is no community. Public safety forces are essential to the well-being of every city, county, and region across Alabama.

At Synergic, we are committed to supporting public safety training organizations like the Law Enforcement Academy of Tuscaloosa (L.E.A.T.) by providing the tools and resources they need to effectively prepare trainees for the workforce.

Synergic currently hosts L.E.A.T., offering office space, classrooms, meeting rooms, and an obstacle course for hands-on training and evaluation. In addition, the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff’s Office Cyber Intelligence Unit is also housed within the Synergic facility

Education & Collaboration

Economic & Workforce Development

At Synergic, our mission is centered on both creating unique workforce opportunities and ensuring that citizens have the education and support needed to seize them. From our collaborative co-working space to our strategic partnerships, we are deeply committed to advancing workforce development across the region.

We’re proud to partner with organizations like Innovate Alabama, West Alabama Works, and Shelton State to provide accessible, high-quality learning experiences that empower individuals to realize their full potential and make meaningful contributions to their communities.

Education & Innovation

Agriculture, Natural Resources, & Outdoor Life

Natural resources are vital to Alabama’s well-being and to the growth of its workforce. As technology continues to evolve, it plays a critical role in protecting and expanding opportunities in agriculture.

At Synergic, we prioritize educating the public on the latest advancements in natural resource and agricultural technologies. Through podcast episodes, community events, and hands-on classes, we equip agriculture professionals and citizens alike with the knowledge they need to navigate and strengthen Alabama’s expansive agricultural industry.

Education

history Education

Tuscaloosa County tells a unique story, shaped by its rich heritage and vibrant community.

At Synergic’s Heritage Hall, we bring that story to life through interactive displays that highlight the people, events, and culture that have defined our county over time. We’re proud to partner with the University of Alabama Museums and Visit Tuscaloosa to expand access to historical resources and help residents and visitors alike discover what truly makes Tuscaloosa “the one and only.”

In addition, Synergic is home to the Tuscaloosa County Records team, who are dedicated to digitizing and preserving essential documents—ensuring that the story of our county is not only remembered, but made accessible for generations to come.

Collaboration

Community Engagement

Faith-based and community organization engagement refers to the strategic collaboration between religious institutions and community groups to address social issues and improve community well-being.

This partnership leverages the resources, networks, and influence of faith and civic communities to enhance community development, social services, and other initiatives. It involves working together to identify needs, develop solutions, and implement programs that benefit the wider community.
