In April, Synergic hosted several large events critical to the mission of the center. Starting off with the launch of the newly rebranded West Alabama INTERCEPT Task Force. This marks a significant expansion in resources and space to combat child exploitation and human trafficking. Later in April, Synergic partnered with West Alabama Works to host Classroom2Career, a hiring event focused on connecting seniors and recent graduates with opportunities in our community. Over 100 students from across the region attended.

May kicked off with the Cattlemen’s Association holding their spring meeting at Synergic, bringing together members of the agriculture and forestry community. Following the meeting, the Center hosted Focus50+, a social service agency supporting adults 50 and up. Their goal is to support the senior community and empower them to remain active, healthy, and independent. The Synergic regional training center provided a venue for the group to meet, eat, and dance.

In addition to events, the Synergic Center Content Team began producing the Tuscaloosa County Advancement Digest, a news aggregator podcast posted bi-monthly on Spotify and Apple Podcast.
